Hiut Denim Co. is a British denim brand dedicated to making high-quality jeans with traditional craftsmanship. Founded in 2011 by David and Clare Hieatt, the company is based in Cardigan, West Wales, a town with a long history of denim manufacturing.
For decades, Cardigan was home to Britain’s largest jeans factory, producing around 35,000 pairs of jeans each week and employing hundreds of local workers. When the factory closed in the early 2000s, the town lost both jobs and a valuable craft tradition. Hiut Denim was created to bring jeans manufacturing back to the community and revive those lost skills.
